Camp Schedule
-
5:45 - 6:00pm
We accept new campers all week long! Kids who are arriving for the first time (without pre-registering online) will be able to register in person. If you’ve already registered online (even if it was earlier that day), your camper’s tags will be ready & waiting at check in. Both new campers and returning campers should enter the front doors of the church.
-
6:00-7:00pm
Students check into camp in the front foyer and then head into the sanctuary. During lesson time we sing and dance to praise songs and learn the memory verse for the week.
Then we dim the lights and our live action original parody of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory begins. After the show ends, a leader will preach a short message followed by the opportunity for kids to respond and have a time of prayer with leaders.
-
7:00-7:30pm
Lighthouse Kids Camp is unique in the fact that campers are able to choose which activities they would like to participate in instead of rotating through standard stations with other kids from their grade. Campers will be able take their pick between: Craft, Dessert Decorating, Jewelry, Board Games, Scrapbooking, Slime & Gym Games.
-
7:40-8:20pm
During this workshop, kids will prepare for a group presentation during Sunday Fun Day’s 10:00am service.
Campers will have the choice between Puppets, Drums, Choir, and Praise Movers.
-
8:30pm
Kids will be back in the main sanctuary for parent pick up. Parents must supply the matching security tag to their child’s tag before a child will be released.

In the same way that pastors at Lighthouse pray and seek the Lord for direction on what to preach on a Sunday, instead of downloading a sermon series from a christian publishing company, Lighthouse Kids Camp’s lessons are completely original.
Kids today are growing up in a society that is very selfish and impulsive. People every day are learning the hard way that the pursuit of temporary pleasure and gains always leaves you empty in the end. This year, our memory verse is John 14:6: “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Kids need to hear the Good News that, through His work on the Cross, Jesus offers the only authentic source of fulfillment in this life to all who call on His name.
Using the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as a template for our parody, we’ll take a tour of Wally Wonka’s Chocolate Factory with Timmy Pail, his Granda Ray, and the rest of the Golden Ticket finders who focus a little too much of their tour chasing after their own impulsive whims.

We provide all supplies necessary for each workshop activity. Kids will be moving to three different locations throughout the night as they attend their chosen workshops so less items to carry around is best.
